Why I write

I've been writing software for a long time. Over the years I've learned new concepts, languages and tools. Software development is a broad field that evolves fast, and I will forever be a beginner in most of it.

Even though writing software is my job, I have struggled to keep up with technology. For example, I've only understood the value of Docker recently. Yet I had heard about it since 2014, and even went through their tutorial around 2015.

I hope this blog helps other software developers learn. It will also help me reflect on what I have learned.
